Please note important email changes:

Specialty Toys Network is phasing out email service, and recommending Rackspace Email services.

(9/1/16) We have determined that the demands for supporting email across multiple platforms, combined with the resources required to fight the ever-changing world of spam, is pulling our attention away from what we really do best (creating wonderful websites for toy sellers). So, we are in the process of phasing out email services as a supported service, and assisting our clients in switching over to other, larger providers who have more resources dedicated for email. This change does NOT affect your website hosting. We know this transition will require some time and energy for your company, and so are working hard to assist you in making this change as easily as possible.

This will mean better email services and support (things like more disc space, less spam, and 24x7x365 support), but it will also introduce a new monthly cost to you of roughly $2 per email account.* To ease the transition, we are teaming up with Rackspace support to assist you in migrating your current email accounts. We can also credit your STN hosting account for the extra cost (up to $15/mo) through 3/1/2017.** Rackspace is also offering a special discount to any of our stores who need email services in excess of $15/month (this is a discount forever, so it's a nice bonus).


Rackspace Email Services

Sign-up and Migration Steps:

  1. Sign-up online here: https://cart.rackspace.com/apps
    1. Note: Will you need more than 7 email accounts? (CALL Rackspace Sales at 1-844-858-5962 for discount options instead of using the online signup)
    2. After your account is created, you can contact Email Support at 877-413-9972 for assistance anytime, 24x7x365. The Rackspace support team will walk you through these following steps:

  3. After you create your new email accounts, you can migrate existing data:

  4. Next, Update your DNS records

FAQ

  • What is the minimum cost per month for Raclspace email? $10 per month, which provides up to 5 email accounts. Additional accounts are $2/mo.
  • What if I need more than 7 accounts or want to use a Microsoft Exchange server?
    1. If you expect your services for Rackspace Email or Hosted Exchange to be over $15 per month, please CALL the Email Specialist team at Rackspace for special pricing before signing up.
