Shipping Options

 

USPS: Using the United States Postal Services API, this calculator will set shipping cost based off of the combined weight of all the products in a shopper’s checkout cart, the store’s ZIP code, and the customer’s ZIP code. You have the ability to set handling fees and select which USPS shipping methods you want to offer. This option requires that all of the products in your cart have a weight.*

UPS: Using the UPS API, this calculator will set shipping cost based off of the combined weight of all the products in a shopper’s checkout cart, the store’s ZIP code, and the customer’s ZIP code. Canada Post: Canada Post is the most common domestic shipping system in Canada, much like USPS is for the US. The Canada Post Shipping Module is formatted for restricted access. Please contact support@stoysnet.com if you are needing this module enabled.

Flex Shipping (Zone) : This calculator creates a total shipping and handling fee by charging a percentage of the shopper’s cart total. You can set a minumin shipping charge. You can also add a handling fee to every order. You can over-ride a shipping charge for an individual item. This method does not require product weights. Standard Table Based Shipping (Zone): Shipping cost are based on a table of cart totals. For example, any cart total up to __$15__ is charged __$5.95__. You can set the reference values. You can also have multiple Ship Value tables in order to allow your customer to select the desired shipping option (i.e. Standard Shipping, 2-day, Next Day, Insured, etc.). Free Shipping: You can easily offer your shoppers Free Shipping (yeah!) when thay make a purchase totaling X amount. For example, free shipping for all orders over $75.00. This is a separate setting from your shipping calculator(s), and can be changed at any time.

Standard Shipping Module: This shipping calculator allows you to create multiple shippers and shipping values based on zip codes and the weight of your cart. Very flexible but requires alot of time to set up.


* A note on calculators based on weights: For these shipping calculators to work correctly, you must have a weight associated with each product in your cart. If we can obtain accurate weights from our manufacturers, we include them in the master database, but at this time only a portion of our manufacturer’s have been able to supply accurate weights.
