Content Management - Menu Manager
Friday, 21 December 2012 11:10

You may wish to temporarily turn off a menu link, which you do by unpublishing the link.

If you simply unpublish a Static Content page that's linked from the menu, you'll still be able to click on the link - you just won't be able to view the page when you get there. Not very friendly - better to unpublish the menu link instead.

To unpublish a link from your Main Menu, click Menu >> mainmenu (not 'Menu Manager').

Simply click the item in the "Published" column, turning it to a red X. Your menu link is instantly unpublished! If you refresh the front end of your site, you'll see that link has disappeared. Click the red X to re-publish the link.

In the example, Shop By Manufacturers and Shop By Category submenu items are unpublished.
