Components - Newsletters - Letterman

You'll take your subscriber list, format it in two columns named "name," and "email," and save it as a CSV file in order to upload to your Letterman newsletter subscriber list.

Note: Specialty Toys Network supports the CAN-SPAM Act and if we see the newsletter system is being abused and not following the rules in your agreement with Specialty Toys Network then we reserve the right to discontinue your membership.

Step 1. Make sure your subscriber list is arranged in two columns.

In Excel or Open Office, make sure your list is set up with the subscribers' names in the first column, and their email addresses in the second.

Blank fields cause errors! If you don't have names for some subscribers, insert "Your Store Customer," or "Friend of Your Store" into those fields.

Step 2. Save the file as a CSV in Windows.

In Excel 2007, there are three different CSV formats. Choose the first one.

Save the file as a CSV from a Mac.

Alert! : for Mac Users, you need to save the file as a "Windows CSV" format file.

To upload the inventory!

Since we created this file with Excel, and we are using just the 3 items to update the site, then prior to uploading the file we will want to select "," and "none". In the next example we will be using OpenOffice and we will be defining the delimiters
