After you have created your newsletter, follow these steps to send it out to your readers:


Step 1. Open the Newsletter Manager.

Components >> Letterman >> Newletter Management


Step 2. Click the 'Send now' icon for the newsletter you want to send.

Step 3. We suggest always sending a test to yourself before you send it to all your readers!

From the 'Send to group' drop-menu, select 'Administrator' to send to all Administrator level users.

Step 4. Click the 'Send' to start the sending of the email

Step 5. Click 'OK' to confirm you want to send.

Step 6. Go to your email account you use for your Administrator Admin, and proof the test email

If you have any changes, go back to the Newsletter Manager and edit them at this point, then send another test.

 


Step 7. Once your newsletter is as desired, click the 'Send now' button again, and set your 'Send to group' settings.

Your settings may be different from what is shown above. To send to All Confirmed newsletter subscribers, select 'All Subscribers' and check the 'Only confirmed Accounts' checkbox.

Make sure your from and reply email address is correct.

Leave the 'timeout' and 'quantity of emails to send at once' settings as shown (unless otherwise directed by your STN project manager.)

 


Step 8. Click the 'Send' to start sending of the email, and 'OK' to confirm you want to send.

Note: 'Sending' an Email is different from 'Publishing' an Email.

The above steps are used to SEND an email out to your readers. Read the help page "Publishing Newsletters" for details on displaying a newsletter within your website.
