Are there products that you would like added (or updated) in the STN Master Product Database?

Keeping the STN product database updated is one of the most important services we offer our members. We need your help in contacting vendors to let them know how important it is that they send us their new product information- so you can post it online easily and sell to all your customers (not just the in-store customers).

You can alert us via the Vendor Status Tab, or Submit a Report of Vendors here.

If you prefer to contact the vendor directly, here are some starter letters for you to copy and send to manufacturers. Feel free to email the letters and cc us at productsupport@stoysnet.com, or print a letter and mail it. If you let us know when you’re requesting new data from a manufacturer, we’ll contact them as well. Working together like this will make it easier to get the data added as soon as possible.


 

Request for Toy Data I

Hi [CONTACT NAME],

 

This is [YOUR NAME] from [COMPANY]. I am working on getting my website up-to-date and want to get the [BRAND NAME] products added to my site. The easiest way for me to do this is to get your product information and images to Specialty Toys Network, who manages a database of product information for me and 200+ other retailers to pull from.

 

Would you please send your product information to Specialty Toys Network?

  • If you need a starter spreadsheet for building product details, you can download our product detail spreadsheet

    • Please provide as much information as possible. Minimum required fields are SKU, Name, UPC, Short Description, and MSRP.
  • You can upload any images or files via our partners upload page
  • Specialty Toys Network will send you a login to preview your items once they have been added/updated

Part of our plan for promoting and selling your products is to make your products look great for our walk-in customers. Now we also need to make your products look great for our customers who choose to shop online on our website.

This is where we really need your help! We are members of Specialty Toys Network. They specialize in websites for independent toy stores throughout the United States, and have created a custom website for our store. In addition to website design and support, they also provide us with a unique database of 100,000+ toys for our industry.

For those vendors and manufacturers that are already participating in Specialty Toy Network’s database, thank you! I am asking you to please be diligent in providing your new, current, and updated product information, including images and product descriptions, in a timely manner. Without this updated, current information, we cannot post your brand new products to our website, thus decreasing your reach.

For those vendors and manufacturers who are not participating, I am asking you to please consider submitting your product information to Specialty Toys Network’s product database so it may be used on our website. This service is of no charge to you and it helps you sell more product as well as increase your visibility in the market.  Please contact productsupport@stoysnet.com and they will assist you with any questions you have about the service.
