Safety Warnings

In order to assist all the STN member with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act, we have created a basic "Toy Safety" information page. Below is a set of instructions for adding the page to your website.

Steps:

Step 1. Create a new "static content" page (help) called "Toy Safety" (or similar)

Step 2. Copy the text below and paste it into your new page.

As a Specialty Toys Network member, we are committed to providing our shoppers and customers with quality toys. We believe consumers want to know which products are manufactured in responsible methods. We also believe consumers have an inherent right to know when a product may be potentially harmful.

We welcome your safety questions, and have compiled the following information in order to help you make an informed decision about the toys you buy.

ASTRA (American Specialty Toy Retailers Association) Toy Safety Information

ASTRA Manufacturer’s Safety Statements

U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission

Toy Safety Publications by the USCPSC

TIA (Toy Industry Association, Inc) Toy Safety Information

If you have questions about a specific toy, please feel free to drop us an email. We’re here to make sure you and your children have a great experience with all of the products we sell.

Step 3. Edit the supplied text as you see fit.

Step 4. Create a link to the page so your visitors can easily find the info (help)
